Celebrate Milestones with Visuals

I recently had the pleasure of traveling to the Dallas–Fort Worth area to provide live graphic recording for the grand opening of GOFO’s new warehouse and office location in Lewisville, Texas!

The celebration marked an exciting milestone for the company. The new DFW hub is home to what GOFO identifies as the largest shipping warehouse in its North American network, making it an especially meaningful moment for the team, its partners, and the local community.

As a graphic recorder, my role was to listen closely as company leaders and guests shared GOFO’s story, vision, and goals—and then translate those ideas into a colorful visual narrative in real time. Working across two large panels, I combined hand-drawn illustrations, key messages, and memorable details to create an artwork that reflected both the energy of the celebration and the significance of this new chapter.

Live graphic recording brings a unique kind of engagement to an event. Guests can watch the artwork evolve throughout the day, see their shared ideas take shape, and connect with the event’s message in a more immediate and memorable way. The finished piece also becomes a lasting visual record that can continue telling the organization’s story long after the celebration ends.

It was wonderful to see attendees stop by, watch the drawing develop, ask questions, and search for the ideas and details they recognized. That interaction is one of my favorite parts of this work: the artwork doesn’t simply document an event—it becomes part of the experience.

Congratulations to the entire GOFO team on the opening of this impressive new DFW location! I’m so grateful that Big Bright Visuals could help celebrate the occasion and visually capture such an exciting milestone.
